TY - GEN AB - An individual switching technique for semi-conductor components of power converters presents an individual electrical and thermal output performance. Therefore, understanding the switching patterns or sequence and their effect can significantly improve the overall performance of the power converters. In this paper, a sequence based control methodology for a power converter system to optimize its electrical and thermal performance will be presented, analysed, and discussed. The method includes modelling the converter system with respect to a sequence of switching events, defining and formulating the control objectives into a form of a cost function, and solving the cost function for the optimal electrical performance.  AD - Clarkson University AD - Corhuila University Corporation of Huila AD - Corhuila University Corporation of Huila AU - Vu, T V AU - Diaz, F AU - Edrington, C S DA - 2018-10-04 ID - 7736 JF - Conference Proceedings of iSCSS KW - Distributed control KW - data forecasting KW - evidence theory L1 - https://library.imarest.org/record/7736/files/ISCSS%202018%20Paper%20091%20Vu%20FINAL.pdf L2 - https://library.imarest.org/record/7736/files/ISCSS%202018%20Paper%20091%20Vu%20FINAL.pdf L4 - https://library.imarest.org/record/7736/files/ISCSS%202018%20Paper%20091%20Vu%20FINAL.pdf LK - https://library.imarest.org/record/7736/files/ISCSS%202018%20Paper%20091%20Vu%20FINAL.pdf N2 - An individual switching technique for semi-conductor components of power converters presents an individual electrical and thermal output performance.
