TY - GEN AB - Based on present technologies for the conventional submarine that are intended to improve stealth in the patrol area and using some key figures for the options that are available now, the authors propose to define agility of a non-nuclear submarine in a rational way. Using this methodology a comprehensive study was carried out for a large ocean going submarine that must also be able to operate in littoral waters. The major results are highlighted in the paper.
